We celebrated Clara's 3rd birthday yesterday with a Hawaiian themed party. Her Grandma and Grandfather Reubin, Grandma and Grandfather Trent, and her Great Grandma and Great Grandfather were all there along with our neighbors and some friends and lots of little kids. I think there were 11 kids age 3 and under at our house last night for some fun in the pool and a big dinner and of course some cake.

Clara was overwhelmed to say the least. She had several meltdowns, including a big freak out when everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' to her. She didn't even want to blow out the candles! Poor girl...she really doesn't want to the center of attention in a group. However, if you get her around close family or just one on one, she will talk your ear off and be perfectly comfortable.
Clara did enjoy opening her presents.
After everyone left, she gathered up her new suitcase, purse and golf bag and was ready to head to Grandma's house.

The funniest and cutest thing all day was when she put on her hula costume from Great Grandma Reubin. She even did a hula dance for us!
