What's life like now for us, you wonder?
For starters, we have a really BIG yard.
The road to our house is gravel...not paved.
We have a propane tank in the yard...
We get our water from a well, instead of city water pipes.
Clara loves to drive and sit next to her Daddy.
We have a garden with corn, green beans, squash, zuccini, green peppers, pumpkins, and onions.
Things here are going well. Tom started his new job last week and really likes it. The other doctors have been friendly and helpful and the shifts are so much shorter than in residency. Yea!! He seems to enjoy the extra big yard we have here and is seen frequently darting across it on his super fast lawn mower.
I am getting further along in my pregnancy and feeling the baby kick more and more. I meet my new doctor next week and should get another ultrasound then. I am almost 29 weeks along...less than 3 months until the baby is here!
Clara has jumped head first into the 'Terrible' and 'Terrifc' 2 year old stage. One minute she is sweet and playing nicely with Chelsea and the next she is pitching a huge fit about which diaper she wants to wear. It keeps us on our toes, that's for sure. In a moment of weakness, I bought Clara a big box of colored, frozen, high fructose corn syrup popsicles and it's pretty much the highlight of her day when she gets to have one. There are usually several conversations each day about which color she is going to eat (usually blue) and which color Mommy and Daddy should have (any other color other than blue). She loves these things and who wouldn't...they are so sweet and cold and fun to eat.
